From the result of the survey, the number of Access Point (AP) in Hong Kong increased by 60.11% in compare with 2006, which was 3,990 AP in total. For AP that were not encrypted, it was decreased by 10.17%, which showed an improvement in WiFi security. For Macau, the number of AP found was 2,923, which showed a fast development in WiFi coverage in Macau. 34.88% of the AP were found not encrypted.
